Re: Forum Download and Installation
Now, there is new plugin NP_PunBB available.
NP_PunBB plugin allows to integrate BLOG:CMS and PunBB forum software. It will automatically create users in PunBB database which will register in BLOG:CMS, with the same username, real name, password and email!
In plugin Options, you will have to specify connection options for PunBB database. You can also transfer all existing BLOG:CMS users to PunBB database.
Download at:
http://blogcms.sourceforge.net/plugins/NP_PunBB.zip
Note for Nucleus users: this plugin is Nucleus-compatible as well.

Re: Forum Download and Installation
New NP_PunBB plugin available!
* When adding an article, you are offered a choice to host discussion for this article at PunBB Forum. Why? Because you can. Because PunBB forum is way more flexible to handle discussions than BLOG:CMS comments. So, you can disable comments for that particular article, and rather make an automatic link to PunBB Forum Topic. Now, NP_PunBB plugin will automatically create a PunBB Topic for you, if you wish it will also post content of your article, both "body" and "more", it's title, it will post this article into PunBB under your own username, and it will also update user and forum statistics.
* When editing an article, you can chage PunBB Topic ID. Why? If you decide, later on, that you want to host discussion for a certain article on PunBB Forum, simply create the topic yourself, and assing an ID. Or, you can assign several articles a single Topic ID. It's up to you.
* There is also Template Variable available (NOT skinVar, so it has to be used in default or detailed template), called <%PunBB(text1,text2%>. Those 2 text fields are entirely optional, calling the <%PunBB%> template var without them will display unformatted link. But, using those text fields, which get printed just before / after the raw link, but only if the link to PunBB exists, gives you the opportunity for better styling.
Code:
<%PunBB( <a href=",">Discuss this article at forum!</a> )%>

Re: Forum Download and Installation
I can't seem to get the PunBB to work. It's saying in the admin setting when I try and do something, "Bad_HTTP_Refferer", Problem?

Radek, I have punbb already installed before installing Blog:CMS
What can I change in NP_Punbb so that the integration can be made where my forum is at /www/forum/ and the blog:cms is at /www/blog/ ?
Thanks

Re: Forum Download and Installation
Can someone please confirm that the new NP_punBB is compatible with NP_Usersharing?
I am still a little confused about how to make these plugins work together.
I have both plugins installed right now. When I change user info in BLOG, it changes it in FORUM too. But not vice versa.
Also I get a query error when I try to post a new article and want to have a thread about it started in punBB automatically.
