4 questions (templates, skins, localization, registration)
1. I've carefully scanned all the forum and nucleuscms site and found a few skins. But where can I download templates? I want another layout and seeking a way to do this without coding.
2. Downloading new skin and applying it in admin section doesn't cause change of view (I've used bbGeorgeWNavyGray). What I missed?
3. I've tried to localize Blog:CMS, download russian.php from Nucleus site and put it in /language directory. Sure I got russian in language menu and switched to it. But most of the info are still in english. Seems I need localized template? Skin? Where can I get it? Translate by myself?
4. I've assumed that all the visitors of my site will have ability to register and to make their own blogs. I turned on "Allow Visitors to Create a Member Account" but again nothing happen. I've expected some kind of "Register" link to be appeared on the main page. I've missed again ![]()
PS: I feel this is a powerful and great software with a lot of abilities. But I don't know how to use all of them. Please help! ![]()

Re: 4 questions (templates, skins, localization, registration)
1. you can get some new skins at http://skins.nucleuscms.org/
2. you have to change your BLOG settings to use a new skin, instead of a default one
3. you have to translate skins yourself, I cannot translate it for free to 1.000 languages
4. you have to provide, in your skin, link to createaccount.html

I got a few skins there. But where can I get templates?
And please can you add some info (or atl east link) to this URL?
I found it by Google, not by link from blogcms.com ![]()
2. you have to change your BLOG settings to use a new skin, instead of a default one
Admin section -> Global settings -> Base skin? Right?
Nothing happens ![]()
3. you have to translate skins yourself, I cannot translate it for free to 1.000 languages
Definitely, you are right. What files exactly I need to translate? I can do it for all the community.
4. you have to provide, in your skin, link to createaccount.html
Yes, thank you.

not global settings, but BLOG settings, each blog can have its own skin
URL:
Code:
/nucleus/index.php?action=blogsettings&blogid=1

well, all skins and templates, that come with default install package (here I do not mean CSS files, but BLOG:CMS layout skins, templates, and extraSkins). If you make them available, I'll create a new skins section, on blogcms.com, of course with full credit for translation given to you ![]()

Thank you again. But excuse me, can I force all the users to use only one my skin?

Not sure I can translate all of them but definitely I'm planning to translate at least one skin. See you soon ![]()

new BLOGs, unlike existing ones, are created with skins specified in GLOBAL SETTINGS.

Perfect, Radek!
What's about translation - I see two ways.
1. Get all the content of base directory and translate it, making new default skin with new name (defaultrus for example).
2. Export default skin, default, detailed and print templates in one skinbackup.xml file. But don't know what to do next ![]()
What is the right way?

I want to make as less work as possible to get fully russian blog.
So I think it will be enough to translate one (default?) template and one skin.
Where are placed default skin and default template texts? There are no texts in skin/base directory.
