How to activate a plugin?

Hello All,

I have tryed to get the NP_PopupImage.php plugin working.

I looked at the documentation if I had to import it I thought I readed that but cannot find it back. So I placed this file in the plugins dir. But I cannot see it in the plugins list? Where do I import it or get it active?

Re: How to activate a plugin?

1. copy plugin into /nucleus/plugins folder
2. install this plugin in Admin Area
3. call the plugin in your skins/templates

Re: How to activate a plugin?

Thanks Radek,

point 1 I did

point 2 I cannot find it sad

I go to admin Area and where do I find the option to install it?

I see plugins under blog:cms settings.

And I see under extra Feutures plugins maintanance.

But when I click that one I do not see an option I can install a new plugin?

Hello Radek,

I do not have there a button

It is only saying currently installed and then a large list with installed plugins.  But no options to install, no button. I tryed with IE and with motzilla. I see with IE a yellow ! sign in in left bottom corner.

Is it possible you giveme the url for installing a plugin?

Like:

http://domainname.com/nucleus/index.php … plugin????

maybe I can solve it that way.

regards Walter

if there is no button, there is no new plugin found in /nucleus/plugins/ directory...

Strange because I uploaded NM_PopupImage.php myself and I do not see that one in the list nor that it is installed default?

Re: How to activate a plugin?

I solved the problem I think black is not always black and white not always white smile

I found a problem in my log's from the server and it was saying that it could not allocate enough memory for the task. I changed the amount of memory in PHP from 8 to 12MB and restarted the server and it is working now!

Re: How to activate a plugin?

I have this problem as well.  When I install NP_PopupImageGD the bottom of the plugin display fails to display.

http://homomojo.com/images/cap.jpg

The area in yellow won't appear.  It just cuts off the page in the middle of the table.  I can't even uninstall the plugin.  I must delete the plugin via ftp and then I get the error box displayed just under the blue area.  I can then uninstall it.

I am running GD2, on PHP 4.3 and BLogCMS 3.6.4

I increased the memory allowed by the script to 12MB as well but it didn't help.

Can anyone figure this out?
